The HVAC Green Classroom was designed to ensure that people throughout the country are informed and educated on the latest cutting-edge technologies being used in the green movement within the HVAC industry.  The technologies featured in the HVAC Mobile Green Classroom use less energy and fewer natural resources, have minimal impact on the environment and use materials that can be reused or recycled.  The HVAC Mobile Green Classroom features the latest cutting-edge technolgoies used in sustainable mechanical service and construction.  The on-board technology features innovative mechanical systems that are designed to enhance a building's energy efficiency while decreasing reliance on nonrenewable resources.

The HVAC Mobile Green Classroom is being sponsored by the Plumbers & Steamfitters, Local 400, which is comprised of approximately 2,000 members serving eighteen counties in Northeast Wisconsin.  Their main purpose is to provide training for its members and qualified manpower to 125 signatory contractors for all aspects of the plumping and pipe fitting industry.
